Actually, it's hella interesting.

There are so many references I do not understand, but I still am enjoying it.

I'm giving up on this book! Everything is just going out the other ear. I don't think it's the fault of the author, just my own ignorance on the general subject of European history.

Re-reading, thought it's a good companion to my other book now.

It's very good, but very long, and I'm being distracted by other books...
