Emily’s class is going on a field trip to the Beauty and Deportment which is where you choose a place on the island to find jewels, crystals, diamonds, and etc.

Emily, the main character, is very determined when it comes to Emily’s instinct/gut. For example, Emily found a gold ring because of Emily’s natural tendency.

Emily’s mom (Mary) is arguing about how Emily doesn’t get real education like english, science, math, and etc. Mary doesn’t like being on a island only surrounded by water.

I think that in the next few chapters Emily’s parents are going to get a divorce or Emily is going to spend more time with her dad instead of her mom.

Emily and Shona, best friend, are going to start exploring the island more as mermaids. Althea was showing around Emily and Shona when Emily saw a cool cave, but couldn’t go inside because it is dangerous.

A significant moment was that Emily and Emily’s dad aren’t really close because Emily’s dad is a merman, so he lives only in the water. They can’t really have a conversation together without making it awkward.

Emily and the family have moved to another island that is both for mermaids and humans to be safer from what happened in the first book. While, Emily is looking around the island Emily feels this current pulling Emily in the ocean.

In the book, their was a cliffhanger because it never said what was going to happen if Emily would have been pulled in the current. This is a sign that Emily is in danger.

In the book, Ben found a bag filled with money in a secret place. Ben’s dad got all bad when Ray (father) saw Ben with the bag. Also, Olive and Ben got lost in the woods/forests because they wanted to escape.

Ben, Olive, Ray, and April live in an old, rusty cabin in the year 2015. This is a great setting for this book because it gives the creepy feeling that the author have created by the using of creative words.

Christina got kidnapped by these people at the bar that Christina goes to every Friday night. After a few days, the police came and arrested the kidnappers, Zack and Loretta, but the police doesn’t believe that Christina got kidnapped.

The author makes the main character talks in first person. I really like that the author choose this style because it’s earlier to read and understand what is going on in the book.

In the book, Christina Lattimore, the main character is going to a bar every Friday night. When Christina is at the bar there is a creepy guy, Zack, that is always looking at Christina in a weird way.

The conflict in this book is character to character because Christina wants to go on this school trip to France. Christina’s dad wants Christina to go to this traditional religious thing instead of going to France.

In the book, Amina, the main character, is really shy in middle school and her best friend, Soojin, is starting to talk to Emma, a mean and popular girl at this school. Amina has a secret talent that is her beautiful voice.

Th main character, Amina, should be more grateful about her voice. Amina only told her best friend, Soojin, about her voice. When it comes to school events that involve singing Amina refuses.

Currently in the book, Dit and Pa go fishing together. They went fishing together because Pa was going to talk to Dit about the man-to-man topic. When they arrive at the fishing hole Dit sees Emma, the new girl in town, and Dit get’s really anger and tells Pa to tell they to leave.

The best character is Pa because Mr. Walker, the father of Emma and an African American is very respectful to Mr. Walker.

In the book, Dit the main character has 9 siblings and really hates the new girl in town. The new girl is named Emma Walker and Emma’s family is really rich. Dit is showing Emma around Mississippi.

Mama said, “I was wondering, Mrs. Walker, if you wanted to do some laundry.” (9) Mama wanted to put her laundry in with Mrs. Walker, but Mrs. Walker thought she had to do Mama’s laundry instead.

In the book, Beverly met a a nice elderly that is allowing Beverly to live with her. The elderly is letting Beverly use her car, but in return Beverly has to bring her to doctor appointments.

I think that Beverly and the elder are going to become very good friends. Also, I think that Beverly is going to go back home in the last chapters and her mom is going to stop drinking for Beverly to stay.

Beverly, a 16 year old girl, decided to run away from home because her mom is a alcoholic and her dad left her at the age of 2. Beverly’s mom is trying to find Beverly and take her home, but Beverly doesn’t want to go home.

Beverly calls her mom and says, “I just wanted to let you know the I’m okay.” Beverly stills cares and loves her mom even if she kind of ruined Beverly’s life.

Marlee is a very shy girl she doesn’t like to talk in front of people. For example, there was a presentation at school and she could not get out any words. She also was practicing with this girl named Liz her partner at the zoo.

The conflict in my book is that Liz, which seemed a white girl went to Little Rock. A few days after Marlee didn’t see Liz anymore and Marlee found out that Liz was actually black.

In my book, the main character is a girl named Marlee that is 13 years old. Marlee has a little problem that she has a very hard time speaking at school with her teachers, students, or even just speaking in front of the class.

This book is taking place in Arkansas about in the year of 1958. Yes, it’s essential because it saying that schools are closed because of African American kids.

Right know in the book Cass was talking to Lara, the ghost hunter, and Jacob, the invisible ghost friend that Cass is the only one that can see Jacob is very upset that Cass was talking to Lara. Jacob is upset because he doesn’t want Cassidy to leave how to ghost hunt because then she could make Jacob disappear and never been seen before.

Right now in the book Cass’s parents are stilling filming the episodes and know she bet a person that seems that is like her. Her name is Lara and she is a ghost hunter. Cass wants to get to know Lara because Lara says that passing the Veil is like having a job. When you pass the Veil you have to know how make ghosts disappear in the after world that’s what Lara says. Cass wants to learn how to do this.

This book talks about a girl that is named Cassidy but goes as Cass. She lives with her mom and dad in Edinburgh, Scotland. When the book started I was confused because she said that she could see a ghost that is her best friend named Jacob. Cass is the only one that can see him. Her parents write books about the most haunted places in the world. Cass thinks that she just meet a girl that could be just like her.

Right know in my book Ivy, a very mean girl, went to Maggies birthday party and Maggie saw Ivy taking her dog walking money. Maggie couldn’t believe this. Ivy told Maggie that her someone stole her dog and she has to pay money to get her dog back. I think that Maggie in the next 35 pages she is going to help Ivy get back her dog and become friends again like they used to be.

Right know in the book Girl’s Best Friend it was saying that Maggie, the dog walker, main character, has a twin brother that are having a birthday party this weekend. Maggie is very upset because her brother invited a popular girl to there birthday party that she didn’t want.

I’m really like this book
