i wonder about authors sometimes. The voices in their heads telling them stories. Their imaginations unlimited. This guy. This author. Cracked in the head. Twisted, twisty and skewed.

I'm going to have to note in my review this isn't the type of story you just breeze through. It's not an easy read. Kind of like an hallucination, everything is normal and then suddenly impossible things are appearing.

Normally I am swept away by Harper's ability to bring a scene to vivid life but suddenly this has become stilted. “No more reasons not to do it now. I want to grow up, David. I want to be free.”

I'm bored. There is some humor but Fred is a dud and Daniel is a wastrel. I do like the change in the vampire trope but it's not enough to keep my interest yet.

WTF?? I'm crying! CRYING!! This was supposed to be fun! FUNNY! "Like I said, only a glimpse, but I’ll remember it for the rest of my life. She’s smiling."

My only hope now is to do this amazing story right in my review!
