ok i do like that there’s one perpetually horny character who seems to just be Karl Ove’s id

this book is chock full of the thing i hate most about Žižek’s books: instead of just making a point, i need to be told some anonymous anecdote that “proves” a point (“a friend of mine said” etc.). this is possibly the least convincing rhetorical strategy
