I wish I had read this while I was in university studying this stuff. I feel such a genuine connection reading about the proteins I was studying in lectures, being narrated by one of the key scientists making discoveries about them. It's helpful to see how the research progressed in a novel/diary format instead of just through dry academic papers. Hugely recommend this for any botanist or naturalist!
