The 2nd half starts both teams playing intensely, but Tom caught onto something. The other team was being aggressive and hurt our player with 2 minutes left. Preston did a give and go to Tom in order to score the final goal and win the game.

As they are getting ready for their big game, they realize that they are missing. They go to the park and find him at a picnic table. With not a lot of time to spare they convince him to come just in time. Tom's team is communicating much better and playing better offense. The half comes quickly and their team is down by 2. With a mini lesson from Katya's father they think they can win.

While in the store with his teammates he sees that coach that has been nagging him forever. They talk a little about the bet and any counter offers, but none were made. Finally after talking they make a final bet were if Tom loses then he has to become a permanent warrior. The girl Katya, their instructor asks Tom if he made a bet (not clear what bet is). He says yes and is ready for it to happen.

As the are warming up for the last practice, they talk about the Southwind game. Preston tells them he got kicked out of southwind one time. Tom asked why and Preston's only response was that bullies need to be taken care of and now he is here. One of their players says that he got a lot of homework at homeschool and he might not show up. A van rolls in to pick him up and Tom realizes he might not be homeschooled.

Heavy rain starts to come and as the other team ties it up, the game ends with a flash of lightning. As people are running to the van Jimmy talks in disgrace about life. The go to a restaurant and meet an old friend named Paul. He spoiled the secret that Tom was keeping from the team about a scrimmage with Dempsey. Everyone is mad and doesn't speak for a while.

Tom and his mom talk about mac and cheese also what is going on with their family. When the get to the field Preston and Tom get into a big argument about what is going to happen in their future soccer plays. They try to leave it behind them and focus on the scrimmage. During the scrimmage Tom was surprised to see his team up 1-0.

Tom meets up with his old coach and scrimmage, but they lose. There is a girl grandpa who knows a lot about soccer. Later on they go to his store for 30 minutes and get mentored. Tom tells the gang that he told a different coach that they would scrimmage they and they were all down. Even though they lost there were key points Tom figured out and told his teammates. While talking to Katya they go over tom not the team

The kid he meets name is Preston and loves rockets. After Tom gets to know Preston a little bit more, Preston tells Tom to meet him and his buddies at a diner for lunch so they do and he introduces them to his 3 friends. The girl at the desk catches Toms eyes and has so many thoughts about her. Eventually they go play some soccer and meet a guy named Jimmy who has some soccer skills, but he does unfortunately smoke.

As the coach continues to persuade Tom he is able to walk away with causing any unnecessary harm. He gets home and goes straight to his room. His mom comes home and starts asking him questions which he refers to as see if I am okay. He decides to go to the soccer field and meets someone who is doing other things with a remote control plane.

The main characters name is Tom and he plays soccer. The goes to look at a trophy that he currently won and someone else shows up. The guys name is Dempsey who is the coach of the other team they beat. He starts to bribe Tom by saying they could really use him on their team. The coach what happened to Tom's dad so he asked if he was in.

Tom Gray is still fighting again the name Warriors and now he is playing against the Warrior team to see if he will have to play for them or not.

This book is very good so far. It is about a guy names Tom Gray that won't play soccer for his team because it is discriminative against "Warriors".

i finish this bookk for a long time ago what i like about this book is that is cool and it talk about this kid that want to be a soccer player but he need to pass alot of task like practice and work hard. this book is really intresting because it talk about alot of things and a like this book alot because i want to be a soccer player and i like this book alot .

i love this book because is really cool and i love soccer that why am reading this book.Right know this book is about this kid that love soccer and he try to get better at soccer by pratice with is dad but hes dad not fell good. Do u think hes not going to be with hes son or hes going to die.
