Status Updates From Steelhands (Havemercy, #4)

I'm not sure if I want to conjecture yet where I think this is going. For now, I'm just enjoying the introduction to Toverre and Laure and trying to remember Balfour better from the previous books. I guess I have a bad habit of savoring book series to the point where I lose the thread. Oops.

Sometimes I wish descriptions were a little better and less tossed aside due to character indifference but... hey-ho.

I doubt these ladies will let me down so this will be for June Reads Take Pride.

I like Laure but I wish she were a little less crass. It's a fun compliment to Toverre but ... sigh. Currently least interested in Balfour which, judging by the title, may be an oversight on my part. Um, I liked the yowling cat? I find his parts repetitive. Adamo peeks my interest. Also I left too much time between books.
