I really hate to do this but it's going into my DNF list and being donated back to the thrift. I just can't get into it, no matter how hard I try. This doesn't happen very often but life is just too short!

I really hate this book. I picked it up for really cheap and figured I’d give it a go, but I should’ve done more research. I’ll save the rest for my final review

I think I read this before I joined Goodreads, no way to tell. Glad I have GR to go back to now. But being I can't remember stuff anyway Ill continur reading!

Well, Jack's finally understood some things. I'm glad he's realized Sadie's worth and we've finally been introduced to Elizabeth.

Ilse to Elizabeth and Rosenblum to Rose, all in the name of being English, a culture which rejects the Rosenblums anyway.

I'd like to see pretty green glow worms in the night sky. Or a woolly-pig with tusks of gold.

I like that the novel is expanding to include some of Sadie's story. I'd like to read more of the couple's backstory - how they came to be in England rather than the travails of building a golf course.

Can one buy everything at Harrod's? It seems like one can - golf clubs and doves! Jack is trying to tame nature in pursuit of his golf course as Sadie allows weeds to overtake her garden.

Mr. Rosenblums List is my title.

I like this book so far; Jack is like the voice of imagination and inspiration, and Sadie is that tired voice in your head that constantly worries.

Quite boring

I'm having trouble liking any of the characters but the writing is wonderful and the descriptions of the English countryside make my heart happy!

Re reading this delightful book for my bookclub..
