The publication of this book involved censorship, court cases and multiple nations, such was the explosiveness of the content. Reading it I can see why

This non-fiction has been so informative and actually an exciting read to me. This goes into the depths of MI5 and MI6 British intelligence services.

Pretty interesting so far. I really like that he gets into the details especially tech wise.

I am debating on whether or not I am going to struggle through to finish this book. I think it takes a certain desire to read a certain type of book. I may give this one more shot.

Αν και κάπως εξειδικευμένο, σε κάποιες σελίδες του είναι ιδιαίτερα ενδιαφέρον.

As with Oxford and Cambridge, people are usually disposed either to MI5 or MI6, and my father very definitely leaned in favor of MI6.

Enjoyed this over the last few weeks. An interesting and revealing autobiography of a British intelligence officer (MI5).

Sometimes there is a lack of vocabulary used, there are other words than "debrief" and "clandestine" that could be used to describe things to break up the monotony a bit. Spoils what is a really fascinating book. Repeating the "long" word over and over is just as bad as using a simple word again and again.

All done! And as with Defence of the Realm, my interest waned in the 70s.

I had no idea just how complicated and fully committed espionage was during the cold war, very interesting history.
