Status Updates From The Dispossessed

This is the second novel I’ve read by this author and both times I’ve had a hard time getting into the stories but midway through they really get under my skin. What a singular and complex and imaginative type of writing, like nothing I’ve ever read before.

“He was perfectly aware that he had had the same low moods and intimations of failure in the periods just before his monuments of highest creativity.”

Yeah gonna try to remember this one—I’ve got the low moods and intimations of failure down, I’m ready for the monuments of creativity
