History of linguistics. So far the language is very understandable NGL. And I love the arguments being given here as to why linguistic structure is superior as an object of study compared to faculty of speech (wow I saw the word "aphasia" again after such a long time).

I'm sad because apparently Saussure's pushed to work more on other topic, causing him to kinda neglect his ideas on this books, hence no absolutely complete texts present for his future readers to learn from :(

And Chomsky mentioned as the villain here (calling Saussure's theories native) and damn everyone thought this books already outdated (I'm reading for Derrida later)
