Status Updates From Birthday Letters

This book has inspired a newfound love of poetry! It has also left me awake at 3am mulling over how I'd frame my own experiences. I was expecting this book to come off as defensive or frame Sylvia Plath as crazy, instead there is a real felt sense of grief, interpersonal complexity, and a shared devastating inability to understand one another.

I keep having to put this book down... Despite Ted Hughes problematic history... I have never read such a distillation of grief.
