Status Updates From The Baptism

The two kids step dad stole from their mom and he is now in jail because one of their cousins turned him in to the police. Now that he is in jail all of the community gathers around them helping the family with whatever they need.

The protagonist's step-dad left his family after he robbed them of all their money and valuable belongings. Now the younger siblings are after him but their mother wants them to come back home because she says he is not worth the risk of getting in big trouble.

The protagonist is in deep trouble once again for letting his little brother escape from him during a tornado. Their mother is very upset. Later on they let their older brother fight a gorilla, causing them to get into an argument with their mom.

The characters in my novel are constantly getting in trouble with their parents for problems they bring upon themselves, even when they know right from wrong, something us teens are always doing.

The protagonist has just gotten into a big problem with his family. He got into a fight with his cousin and now both parents are upset. The protagonist's mom will now punish him by hitting him.

The protagonist is currently reflecting on his father's passing and saying everything his family must do in order to have enough to support their family.

The protagonist comes of as a little selfish. He looks out for himself only not taking others' thoughts into consideration. He bullies his big brother for fun.
