Status Updates From Esperanza

this book reminds me a lot of "strain" - except without the zombies, and it's not as trashy. there's a similar "must have sex to survive" thing going on, but it's put into a (actually quite horrifying) cultural context and isn't the focus of the story. I wish there as more insight into how women fare, but i guess that wouldn't be natural for Tesla's POV. also the main relationship is a bit ??? at times.

Hmm, not really a dark story thus far. I hope some dub con will fix that!

This world building is giving me thought. Wouldn't it just be awesome sauce if the world were to end with the only remains of literature being M/M books which our surviving descendants believed was representation of our current society?

Isn't it amazing that it's the FREE reads that bring me so much joy. Esperanza is everything I could want in my novels. Just wonderful!
