Status Updates From Unlacing the Innocent Miss ...

Soooo tired of this trope: “I and/or my mother/father/close relative was wounded by someone from ___[insert gender and/or social demographic]___, therefore everyone in said gender/demographic is an awful, evul, untrustworthy person & I hate them beyond all logical reason...except suddenly I care about [insert other MC] because they make me horny.” 🙄 Yeah, that trope needs to die.

It’s never a good sign when you’re one chapter in & already bored with the premise. But seriously. This is Book 6 & the Gypsy still bangs on about revenge for this shit from 20 years back? Get over it, bro. No doubt we’ll also find a repeat of the heroine (rightly) questioning why he’s being such an ass when The Past wasn’t her fault...again...just like in EVERY OTHER INSTALLMENT.

Oh joy, another Silk & Scandal book! 🙄 This is my last one, though. And it’s almost christmas, so might as well knock it off the TBR & have done with this series.

It's really really really good so far. I almost couldn't stop reading, only I had to sleep!
