Chapter 11: Saved is perhaps one of the most impactful sections of a book I’ve ever read. It reveals the power of reading and study; how Black history has been erased and contorted for the white man’s gain; how hindsight reveals truth to those willing to listen; the ways in which we have to be unashamed of changing our minds and beliefs when presented with new information. My god.
