Status Updates From Jane Austen: Pride And Prej...

PRIDE & PREJUDICE:

I found this iconic work by Austen somewhat hard to follow with its many characters, yet I enjoyed it overall. I am happy that Netherfield's future is safe, Darcy and Liz are wedded (not to mention the former's reputation rehabilitated while charming Col Wickham is condemned), and to see Jane and Bingley get married too.

I don't often read romantic stories, but it did bring out my romantic side.

Mr Bennett said yes to the marriage of Elizabeth and Darcy. Wonderful news!

Awwww, Darcy confessed and regretted his wrongdoing concerning Jane and Bingley to Elizabeth. Darcy is redeeming himself!

Poor Lydia, lonely and passionate, only to end up with Wickham!

I wonder if they will get together near the end.

Mr Wickham, you are an awful scoundrel. Darcy was innocent this whole time and you tricked Elizabeth into thinking he was abhorrent!
