This actually might be one of the most violent kids books ever, and yet I wasn't allowed to read Harry Potter because it's "too dark". So far we have two monkeys getting their necks snapped, a beheading, two other character deaths, a cat death, and I think I forgot something else. Great news, though: I'm only on page 150ish and not actually to the part I explicitly remembered as gross and violent.

I feel like we're getting further and further away from the age this was meant for- Hera just full on snapped a monkey's neck and I'm not positive that's okay for elementary/middle schoolers to read???

YES, PANDORA'S CUTE DOCTOR BOYFRIEND!!! I remember being so obsessed with them as a pairing in like 6th grade; hopefully it lives up to that 10 years later

Wow...I feel like Pandora should be mentally traumatized and scarred for life by now because of all the crazy/violent/disgusting things going on.
