Status Updates From Japan Made Easy

OK, that's the second recommendation of Yasukuni. This guy keeps talking about how he's lived in Japan for 30 years. He has to know that one of the reasons Yasukuni's famous is because a lot of people use it to honor WWII war criminals, right? It's basically like visiting a Confederate memorial. One time I can understand as an oversight. Twice, and it starts to look more like an intentional omission.

Eh, I guess it's not quite as relevant to Western tourists, since it doesn't have the same symbolism for them, but if you're going to recommend Yasukuni Shrine as a good hanami spot, you might want to at least mention the controversy of the location as well. If nothing else so people know when they decide where to go.

The chapter on nightlife was very clearly written for heterosexual men. It all reads kind of silly to me.
