I can’t wait to read the second book!

I wonder what Arzhur did for them to take his knighthood status (and consequently his honor) we’ll probably find out in the next book. I wonder what will happen now that they’re on the run. P.S. Islen’s relationship with the animals/creatures are so cute! I want to know more about the “other side”. My only complaint is that she got over her pets/friends’ death so fast (I really hope she didn’t)

I absolutely loved this! I enjoyed the horror/eeriness of it all! The three witches are perfect, their movements &design is just perfect! The last few pages were AWESOME! It brought the whole story to a new level. Islen being—possibly— evil? Yes, please! It could mean that she’s happy about finally being free but I read it as her being happy with all the mess and destruction so fingers crossed that I’m right!

Look, the infant prince dying is sad, but I don't believe Islen killed him. Not her fault her stupid step mother slipped and dropped him.

So Arzhur had been sentenced to death an we're only now finding out about that?

Oh, I take my previous status back. Because I forgot that the sword had been given to Arzhur(?) by those three witches.

Okay but how could the knight have stolen the king's sword, when it is the first time he goes inside that castle? Some characters feel as if they have no more than 5 brain cells.

Ugh, I knew the queen was a tool 🙄

"Youenn took his time, he'll get an earful." And a couple of pages ago, Youenn had his ear bitten off 😬

Okay, Islen(?) has an Electra complex.
Also, witnessing your parents having sex and them not caring you're in the room is inappropriate and plain wrong.
