What a curious reading of this sentence. Only physical warmth of a man's body due to homeostatic endothermy, not emotional warmth. She feels from him only the purest facilities of his body without the connection to his heart nor true concern for *her*.
Really fun book club so far. I learn that this is the best way to connect with my college friends !!
