Status Updates From A Different Kind of Love

Just started reading this even though I have two other books I’m reading

the premise was so interesting but the execution is so underwhelming :(

How is this more emotional than Broken?!

So, I know I might be drawn and quartered for saying this. But I'm really struggling to get into this book. Will, to me, feels like an oblivious teen at times. Also, I'm not a fan of overkill and the whole monologue thus far has been how much he loves/needs/appreciate his wife. He's a 37 year old man. Bit much maybe? I'm no guy but I struggle to thing this is their main though process during every waking moment.

IMO this is illustrating a budding attraction between characters more adeptly than my last read.

Reference to someone putting butter on a rich tea biscuit. I though my Nan was the only one who did this. 🫣🤣
