Status Updates From Wide Sargasso Sea

very interesting so far, definitely grabbed my attention. had to reorient myself a bit because of all the references to jane eyre lol

non-stop bummer so far. why do I never read anything fun. when is the next season of heated rivalry coming out

ugh as a jane eyre bertha hater who wanted her redemption arc, this was not it for me. i’m sorry. the prose also made it hard for me to follow. it was a short and concise novel with a narrative that needed more pages. so sorry jean rhys but i wanted better fan fiction :(
