Geeze, I think I've read this one before, too. It's stirring vague memories.

Read this in one night. Have to read everything in my genre. Can do a whole lot worse than Sandford, who has a great formula down pat. Great characters here, but a little sloppy at the end, letting one off the hook when his normal police work would have exposed her. But ignoring that, a very satisfactory read, can really keep the tension going. Figure out what he does and try to copy it, you'll make millions.
