Hace años que tengo mi biblioteca el tomo de sus obras completas. Lo compré principalmente por los cuentos,. Creo que esquivaba su primera novela porque sabía que la premisa era bastante grotesca, así que el desarrollo sólo podía ser angustiante o caricaturesco, y no tenía apetito para ninguna de las dos cosas en ese momento. Hoy, se alinearon mis apetitos con una confianza absoluta en la ejecución de O'Connor.
