According to Wikipedia the battle of Loos was the biggest British attack of 1915 and it was the first time the British used gas as a weapon and the Germans won which isn’t good for ellwood and gaunt

I feel I’m supposed to like know what happened at all these places their referring to and I just don’t like I don’t have this knowledge of what happened during wwl at a place called Loos so I will be googling and I’ll get back to you

I love how that sentence is written it’s just so simple and beautiful and it’s crazy that being gay at this time is so frowned upon while at the same time so normal it’s beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time that while these relationships are happening there thinking about the women their going to have to marry
