Myślałam, że książka będzie ogólnie poruszała kwestię protestów i rewolucji w Chinach XX wieku. Natomiast wszystko sprowadza się tutaj do jednego wydarzenia, czyli 4 maja 1919 i jego wpływu na historię Chin. Nie narzekam, książka bardzo wciągająca i wbrew pozorom poruszająca więcej kwestii społecznych/kulturowych niż politycznych.
