There’s a sense of film narration here. Like we, the observers, are hungry film concierges for the creation of the character “Marilyn Monroe.” The book offers multi-perspectives of her tumultuous life that gives the third person narration an entire life of its own, almost as if it is unsure of where a good place to tell this story would be. Like there is no one perspective to do so.
