just hit big reveal and i’m excited to see how it pans out i still can’t piece together the mystery

everytime i think i know who the murderer is there’s a twist. book is growing on me more and more

def a good book i’m moving through it quicker but language barrier does make it tough. harder for me to remember locations they call out but i’m fine with the names so i’m not confused over who’s who

i’m into it enough to want to keep reading but definitely harder to read given it was originally published in another language and the translation isn’t the most accurate

Was excited to try Nordic crime-fiction. Love the genre and a little more blood than usual doesn't shock me. However, the narration in the present tense is so different from what I'm used to; and either the translation or the narration style itself; the pace seemed slow; a number of factors made it impossible for me to continue. I rarely leave a book because it's boring; sadly this one was left unfinished.

Abandoned the reading. Didn't like it.

Again with weird writing. One minute it’s dialogue of conversation, nothing unusual then it’ll show “Johan: They seem harmless, let’s say historically minded individuals.”
Why do we need to write his statement out like that when we’re already 3/4 through the page?

A little weird. The victim, as a dead body, details certain portions of the story; Like when they’re setting up the crime scent tent and materials. Already found a few grammatical errors too. But I’ll be continuing.....
