Finished pastas starting with letters L & M (4 & 6 kinds in total, respectively). Okay, the illustrations for "maccheroni alla chitarra" and "maccheroni inferrati" are just... IDK, the names are terribly confusing, since they don't look to be closely related to macaroni lol.

I'm fine with the black-and-white, very graphic illustrations, when it's depicting the pastas themselves; that said, urgh, when there's actual recipes, I'm afraid I'd always prefer photographs over words only. But that's just me lol.

Finished the "introduction", "important notes", and "basics" that are basically just really short sections prepping us for the huge chunk that comes after, which unfortunately was just generically labeled as one big section on the index without detailed page numbers for easier navigation when jumping from content to content.

I wouldn't normally count recipe books as something 'to read' for Goodreads but this includes pages on the history and styles of a lot of different pastas so I can read it from front to back and gain knowledge along the way. I'm also using it as a chance to stick page markers on some of the recipes that I particularly like the sound of and would like to try.
