Status Updates From All the Pretty Horses

I can't help giggling because the reader is so earnest and poetic. It's like I'm listening to Aragorn tell the hobbits the danger of the Nazgûl in the history of Mordor and the Ring of Power. The earnestness would never lets up, even when he's describing the landscape. I sort of lost interest. That long story told by the older woman sort of did me in. And why does he like the girl so much?
