If I’d known the style of writing from the start i’d have enjoyed it more. It’s a book that needs to be read slowly, but i kind of skim read this kind of writing, i rush to the action, the dialogue. It felt like a depressing book. I respected the writing, they storytelling through constant description but it’s probably not my style of novel. I liked the idea of the subject matter more than I liked the book
