The spiritual creature having need of a body is God. The spiritual creature living in a body is us. God experiences his potential through us and through every other creature in the universe, including, of course, animals such as my loving but not very exciting pet turtle, Pogo. God's consciousness resides in and thus experiences every creature, and that is because Brahman and Atman are of the same essence.

The story so far: the collapse of the wavefunction shows that consciousness creates reality, and fine-tuning shows that consciousness created the whole universe. Sigh.

This book is thrilling for me. It makes more sense than anything I've ever read on this topic. Not everyone's cup of tea, but sure is mine.
