I don’t remember much of what I learned about Lewis and Clark. I saw this in the library and really wanted to read this professors opinion about the explorers. The introduction and first chapter was painful to read, but I have not given up.

I went looking for a book that balanced the telling of the story of Lewis and Clark, not as the conquering heroes but as men who had the biases of white privilege. I have found it somewhat. The chapter on snakes is absurd. The writing not great. Reached chapter on Porivo, hoping for some decent information I can use....
