In what was perhaps the most arresting statement in the Mikolashek report, the CID documents revealed that officers "engaged in interrogations using techniques they literally remembered from the movies."

I've experienced the "what, we didn't get any emails from you" in the army so many times and I don't work in interrogation.

FBI having issues with foreign language translations, bad computers and ineffective slow paperwork stuff is really funny to me. Also, the tv show 24 actually having power wow.

I learned the initials and army shortcuts of one army, I can't be expected to learn those of another

I don't know why I always pick up books like this but at least it makes me feel more confident about picking Politics as my major?

This book is based on the likes of Adam gray and Johnathan Millantz whom were guilty of the Iraqi torture scandal. Having left Iraq both were mentally destroyed by their conscience. Resulting in their suicide. This book is very informative and sometimes sympathising.

This book is very important to read, but I could only hardly 15 or so pages at a time it was so devistating. A brilliant piece of journalism on lesser known abuses/torture across the military, with interviews from both shoulders who participated in the abuse, their families, officials/lawyers/human rights workers, and victims who will never be the same.

I am intrigued by this subject, but it is taking a lot of work to get through this book. Why the heck does this read like two or three school essays turned into news feature stories and then turned into an academic paper?
