I love blemish as the "brief transcript of moments, written on the body..." Leviathan has such a way with words.

I thought this very well-written. I enjoyed each little excerpt that went along with each word. They felt real and raw. I loved that. I have to say though I was still confused about some of the dictionary words; I could look them up, but I probably won't.

"It was a mistake" you said. But the cruel thing was, it felt like the mistake was mine, for trusting you

Reading, re-reading, writing notes then underlining them. I love this book so much.

My library isn't very good at categorizing foreign novels. This one I found in the YA section and only knowing of David Levithan as a YA autor I assumed this was a YA novel. I was wrong. But, boy, this is a good book. (Albeit in my opinion, an adult one.) Maybe it doesn't really matter.

Love this: "Trying to write about love is ultimately like trying to have a dictionary represent life. No matter how many words there are, there will never be enough."

I should have paid attention to the reviews and descriptions of this book. It is definitely formatted as a dictionary. I will try to find the connection between all the word entries.

Warning. It is formatted like a dictionary. I should have expected it but thought it would not be since it's marketed as a novel. I will try to finish.

So it's formatted like a dictionary. I don't know how this is going to be a novel but I try to continue.

flux, n. The natural state. Our moods change. Our lives change. Our feelings for each other change. Our bearings change. The song changes. The air changes. The temperature of the shower changes. Accept this. We must accept this.
