"this brief transcript of moments, written on the body, is so deeply satisfying to read."

**Ineffable, adj.
These words will ultimately end up being the barest of reflections, devoid of the sensations words cannot convey. Trying to write about love is ultimately
like trying to have a dictionary represent life. No matter how many words there are, there will never be enough. **

Why do I feel like I could have written so much of this, myself? I really really love this.

i love this, who easy it is to attach your own story to every letter used. i guess that is why it has taken me so long to read. Because i am looking for my own story to put to each word. With some of the words i can relate to so well. its scary yet everyone goes through it when it comes to this.

I'm not sure what I think about the story but I really like the layout of the book. Should be a really quick read.

I think this entire book may already be in the "quotes" section of GoodReads.

This book is a lot better than Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List. By a mile. I do feel like it's trying a bit too hard in areas, but who am I? I've never been in love. I love how a short paragraph of well thought out words can explain more than 10 pages of detail.

I'm giving David Levithan a second chance after the crap story that was Naomi and Eli's No Kiss List. This is the week of second chances, I guess. Jay Asher isn't fairing too well right now. I hope this book will act as some kind of redemption for David.

dumbfounded, adj. And still, for all the jealousy, all the doubt, sometimes I will be struck with a kind of awe that we’re together. That someone like me could find someone like you — it renders me wordless. Because surely words would conspire against such luck, would protest the unlikelihood of such a turn of events.

beguile, v. It’s when you walk around the apartment in my boxers when you don’t know I’m awake. And then that grin, when you do know I’m awake. You spend so much time in the morning making sure every hair is in place. But I have to tell you: I like it most like this, haphazard, sleep-strewn, disarrayed.

There are times when I worry that I've already lost myself. That is, that my self is so inseparable from being with you that if we were to separate, I would no longer be.

It was the way you said, 'I have something to tell you.' I could feel the magic drain from the room.

You were drunk, and I made the mistake of mentioning Showgirls in a near-empty subway car. The pole had no idea what it was about to endure.

elliptical, adj. The kiss I like the most is one of the slow ones. It's as much breath as touch, as much no as yes. You lean in from the side, and I have to turn a little to make it happen.

arrears, n. Of all the things I thought would go wrong, I never thought it would be that. "It was a mistake," you said. But the cruel thing was, it felt like the mistake was mine. For trusting you.
