my biggest gripe right now is that so much of it is focused on issues in the global south yet doesn’t mention the fact (yet) that these countries are systemically disadvantaged because of the long lasting effects of colonization which led to govt instability. i wish this was more US focused bc it reads like US barely has any issues with sustainability, politics, and climate change which isn’t true.

I finally found some time to read something other than the New Yorker, so now I’m going through ebooks on my iPad and reading the latent ones I’ve had for ever so long and ought to have read by now.
