I’m only about a quarter of the way through The Thief, so I don’t know if what I’m feeling is real. But at this point, it feels like the narrator is deliberately keeping things vague—giving surface-level details and not sharing his actual thoughts or feelings. I’m not sure yet if this is intentional on the author’s part because I’ve never read her before. But I feel like a big plot twist is coming.

So far I’ve really been enjoying this. The narrator of the audiobook is very good! 👌

Its seriously so good.
