This book is consistently amazing me

"Finite things are, but in in their reference to themselves they refer to themselves negatively — in this very self-reference they propel themselves beyond themselves, beyond their being. They are, but the truth of this being is (as in Latin) their finis, their end....the being as such of finite things is to have the germ of this transgression in their in-itselfness: the hour of their birth is the hour of their death

just the first section on being and nothing is incredible all by itself.

doctrine of being complete
