Seemed like such a good book but honestly I'm struggling to get through it. It's a little too blasé about certain events that happen and even though it is a fantasy, the characters don't feel quite real to me. I don't know, I may still give it a chance to redeem itself.

I'm having the HARDEST TIME getting into this book (picked by a girl in book club). Witches, immortals, other realms (that still have the Internet & iPhones), Black Widow curse, etc... I'm trying, but don't know how long it'll take me to finish this
