The heroine of this one is almost as unlikeable as the heroine of Kinsale's The Dream Hunter, which is also the weakest Kinsale I've read. I guess it comes down to the heroine for me. I love a bitchy heroine, but a manipulative shrew does not a compelling bitch make.
