Finished the first book and I'm inclined to make a list of "Who said it, Rousseau or a crunchy homeschool mom?" quotes. Cases in point: "No drugs or medicines for slight ailments," "little branches of trees are the best teething rings," "babies, cry it out," "minimize the diapers" and "don't keep the house too clean--a kid gotta get used to spiders sometime."
