Status Updates From Émile ou de l'éducation

While initially I found many passages of 'Profession of Faith of the Savoyard Vicar' engaging and enlightening, towards the end I really did see why the Catholics and Protestants blocked him in every avenue henceforward. I did lose the idea that it was a vicar professing his faith, rather than Rousseau expounding on his own; and while he admits to it, for narrative's sake, he didn't follow through on it.
