Status Updates From 交渉人は黙らない

It's partly funny for me because Koyasu's character in Zetsuai (Izumi) raged and cried and accused angrily about being on the receiving end of the same things his character (Hyoudou) does to Mebuki. And when Mebuki (just like Izumi) rhetorically asks how can something like that possibly make him happy, Hyoudou paused as though he's shocked by the question, and then frankly told him "actually, it makes me happy."

I suppose it's not any more transgressive than your run-of-the-mill Harlequin romance. I still really struggle with the fact that I laughed out loud at some of the things that are clearly set up as comedic. I know it shouldn't be funny but it's really funny.

Some of the erotic dialogues came seemed lame when I read them silently inside my head. But then I found some samples of the audio dramatization: the pause, the suspense, the attitude, and all the other interpretations of the actors changed everything. I always used to hate dramatized audiobooks (I'm generally not crazy about audiobooks, I struggle to follow especially with complex texts.) This one might have CMV.

I'm enjoying this way more than I ... should. Oops.

I don't think this has been translated into English, hopefully it stays this way, because I don't think I can defend my case.

I love the wits, the sophistry, the cocky oneupmanship of the law school grad standing up to feuding Yakuza street thugs. The verbal sparring between M & H is really funny too, especially M's unexpected smart responses.
