I just read the story of the Silver Whistle for the first time since I was nine and I enjoyed it about as much as I did then! However, as an adult I hate the ending a little bit.

I read a couple stories from this book when I was 9 but could not remember the title or many details beyond the basic plot, to save my life. A few key words entered together in Google Books and careful review of results solved that issue, and here we are! I found a couple other books from my childhood I could barely remember this way as well, and copies of those also arrived in my mail recently. :) I am pleased, lol
