Status Updates From Money

I'm surprised how...off-putting parts of this novel are, with the passage of time. Having just re-read LONDON FIELDS, I thought MONEY would be at the same level (at least, that's how I remembered it.) But no! MONEY still has parts that shine (the satire of Hollywood types, and the film-making industry in general) but there are many passages, where the flaws in the material really distract from the comedy of the text.
