Not exactly as I expected this book to be, but an overall interesting reading experience. I chose it because of the title that seemed like a sociological vision of architecture. I expected to find references (that are made) to Plato’s khora, Heidegger’s dwelling, or memetics but not mimesis in virtual space, sci-fi like disembodiment that reminded me of Greg Egan or the Schwarzenegger’s complex. :)

the greatest thing about architecture is that it always looks outside of itself for self definition...this book tells what architecture and philosophy has to teach each other...
