Some of the optimism is a bit dated (this book came out in the build up to Obama's presidency), highlighted by a comparison that "traditional prejudices... about to go the way of vinyl" (which sets up TNC's pessimism well)
Still, very good and has me reframing the LA Riots as a Rebellion.
Best so far is opening letter to young relative about their grandpa, like opening of TFNT
