Status Updates From Envy (Seven Deadly Sins, #2)

I was really getting into the on-the-nose nature of Chapter 8 with our characters fretting over what they lack, and how someone else has it. The ending paragraphs of one character starting another character's thoughts were the icing on the cake.

Greg and Miranda don't sound like they'll be a thing, but at least we're getting to see more of Kane beyond him being a womanizer. Is it a façade, though?

No recap needed in Wasserman's world. Looking back through my copy of Book 1 and Wasserman going over the deets here was all I needed. I am starting to get a little bored with the relationship antics and Miranda feeling like she needs to change herself in order to be with Kane (she doesn't). Wasserman also glossed over Beth and Kane's first study session, which I found strange.

At least Reed got his formal intro.
